Sun Valley Entertainment Pavilion

Sun Valley Resort Entertainment Pavilion
Sun Valley, ID

The Sun Valley Pavilion was originally designed just for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony. When the Sun Valley resort realized the venue was too special to reserve for such limited use, they started booking pop artists, opera, dance, lectures, and more. That's when they brought us in. We designed a system to work with the resources they already had that would be appropriate for all of the different styles of entertainment scheduled. We also made the system flexible enough to keep the labor costs down when we change from a symphony concert, to a rock concert, to a modern dance show on three consecutive days. We consulted with them on what equipment to buy and what equipment to rent. Since then, we have designed the lighting for several events over three seasons, as well as supervise the lighting department for the past two seasons at the Pavilion.

Blaine County Community Campus
Hailey High School Auditorium
Hailey, ID

The Blaine County Community Campus is used by Hailey High School and several outside community groups. They are currently in the middle of a $1.6 million renovation. There are architects, general contractors, an electrical contractor, and other consultants. They brought us in to design a new lighting system to fit all of the needs of the community. We worked with the architects and contractors from early in the project to make sure the new infrastructure would support the lighting needs of the space. We also specified lighting equipment to purchase and acquired quotes for the lighting package. We even worked with members of the school board to help them understand the importance of the equipment we specified and why it was important to approve the funds that the project needed. When this project is finished, the new auditorium will provide a whole new experience for performers, crew and audience like nothing they have ever seen in this venue.

Jersey City High School for the Arts
Jersey City, NJ

Jersey City Arts High School
After an agreement with a local college ended, productions by The Jersey City High School for the Arts moved from a modern, established theater to a bare classroom setting with virtually no technical resources. After designing a couple of shows for them, the theatre program acquired funds to add a lighting system to their classroom. We designed a flexible system that gives them a lot of options in a small space and provides great learning opportunities for the students.

These are examples of projects we've worked on for a small venue, a medium venue, and a large venue. We have consulted in a less formal way on countless projects, helping schools and theaters get the proper equipment they need for any situation.
